Tedrick
With over 33 years experience in custom home building, common interest
reconstruction, water intrusion inspection and repair, interior and exterior seismic retrofitting, remodeling,
building facilities and maintenance, Bob Tedrick brings every year of experience to every project.
Bob started in construction in the summer of 1979 after graduating from high school. Building custom homes for 11
years Bob went into the common interest reconstruction market working as a general superintendent for a San
Francisco construction firm.
Bob implemented many budgeting and scheduling practices into the company model that are still used today. Bob went
on to become a chief estimator before choosing to leave in 2004. Bob joined a large San Jose construction
firm and quickly developed and implemented their Painting Division. Once up and running, Bob was promoted to
General Superintendent where he brought his construction, budgeting and scheduling skills to their outside
operations.
Bob then accepted an offer from a Gilroy based construction firm as the Director of California Operations. Bob
was able to turn the operations around, posting the highest profits in the company's previous 5 years. Bob
implemented the building facilities division, heavily focusing on the training and quality control systems to
ensure all equipment would be properly maintained and serviced.
Today Bob Tedrick Construction Inc. brings all the experience from his past to each project. Having been a part of
the Mega-Companies, Bob has seen what works and most importantly, what doesn't. Not becoming so large you don’t
know all your clients and employees by their first name is a major goal of Bob Tedrick Construction Inc. As a
respected mentor of Bob's would say, "Plan the work and work the plan".
